It is Queen Anne's Lace Season! Take a moment to stop along the road and study one. I didn't choose this flower for no reason. It is a miracle with thousands of perfect tiny white blossoms artfully arranged in each bloom. She even has a purple heart. And to think God sprinkles them everywhere for us to enjoy effortlessly. Stand in a field of them and breathe in their fragrance. It is the essence of summer. She is the Queen of the Wildflowers. Long may she reign!

Still Thankful on a Drizzly Day

The Good Lord knows me so well. He knows how hard it would have been to stay indoors and bake on a spectacular Spring Saturday. Cold, rainy days make for perfect baking days. Off to the kitchen to make sample cupcakes to deliver. Perhaps He will bless us with a sunny Sunday!

A Perfect Day

Aching back, scraped knees, scratches from thorns, dirt under my nails, rosy cheeks and even a bug bite. Ah, yes, it is Springtime again. I couldn't be happier! It is heavenly to be on my knees in my gardens worshiping on an April day.  I hope your day was warm and balmy, too.
